Visible Photosensitizing Disinfectant Spray for Combating Multidrug‐Resistant Candidozyma Auris in Healthcare Settings

Antioxidant and Cytotoxic Properties of Piper spp. Volatile Oils That Inhibit Pathogenic Microorganisms

The samples were fungicidal against Candida, with MICs ranging from 62.5 to 250 μg/mL, and fungistatic against Penicillium adametzii, Aspergillus flavus and A. niger, with MICs of 1000 μg/mL. The volatile oils of Piper aduncum and Piper marginatum reduced the viability of MDA‐MB231 cells.

Control of Postharvest Brown Rot (Monilinia laxa) Disease Through Copper Sulfate and Antagonistic Bacterial Combinations

Control of brown rot (Monilinia laxa) in nectarines using eco‐friendly alternatives. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (B10W10) and Pseudomonas sp. (B11W11), alone or with copper sulfate, significantly reduced fungal growth in vitro and disease severity in vivo.

Protective Effects of Potential Probiotic Pediococcus acidilactici 100 Against Multi‐Drug‐Resistant Diarrheal Escherichia coli Strains Induced Changes in Caenorhabditis elegans Model System

This study shows the protective effects of potential probiotic strain of Pediococci strains against diarrheal Escherichia coli strains in Caenorhabditis elegans model system. The E. coli strains resulted in severe morphological and physiological damage to the worm whereas the probiotic interventions were able to reduce these damages.
