Identification of CD38high Monocyte as a Candidate Diagnostic Biomarker and Therapeutic Target for Sepsis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers that CD38high monocytes discriminate sepsis and sterile inflammation and are associated with 28‐day mortality in bacterial sepsis. Targeting CD38 therapy reduces inflammatory response in monocytes and in sepsis mice model. Mechanistically, CD38‐HIF‐1α/glycolysis/MGO loop exacerbates sepsis‐induced immune dysregulation.

Biodegradation of propiconazole by Pseudomonas putida isolated from tea rhizosphere

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2009
Biodegradation of triazole fungicide propiconazole was carried out in vitro by selected Pseudomonas strains isolated from tea rhizosphere. A total number of twelve strains were isolated and further screened based on their tolerance level to propiconazole.

Applications of New Rhizobacteria Pseudomonas Isolates in Agroecology via Fundamental Processes Complementing Plant Growth

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2019
Pseudomonas isolates have frequently been isolated from the rhizosphere of plants, and several of them have been reported as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria.

Studies on the Protease of Pseudomonas

open access: yesBulletin of the Agricultural Chemical Society of Japan, 1956
The specific action of the crystalline protease obtained from Ps. myxogenes sp., was examined from its action on various proteins, determination of the N-terminal residues of the enzymatically degraded gelatin — which was most readily digested by the enzyme — and comparison with other proteinases, such as trypsin, papain and pepsin.

An Intelligent and Conductive Hydrogel with Multiresponsive and ROS Scavenging Properties for Infection Prevention and Anti‐Inflammatory Treatment Assisted by Electrical Stimulation for Diabetic Wound

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel therapeutic approach that employs a conductive hydrogel (HEPP) responsive to near‐infrared light, pH levels, and reactive oxygen species. Its goal is to enhance the healing environment affected by elevated glucose levels, insufficient oxygen, and bacterial infections in diabetes‐related wounds.

Facilitating crRNA Design by Integrating DNA Interaction Features of CRISPR‐Cas12a System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel approach combining molecular dynamics simulations and neural network modeling to predict the Cas12a trans‐cleavage activity. By integrating sequence and molecular interaction features, prediction accuracy is enhanced, and identify key features affecting Cas12a trans‐cleavage activity.

Novel management of pseudomonas biofilm-like structure in a post-pneumonectomy empyema

open access: yesFrontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology
We present a patient with a post-pneumonectomy empyema refractory to surgical debridement and systemic antibiotics. The patient initially presented with a bronchopleural fistula and pneumothorax secondary to tuberculosis (TB) destroyed lung, which ...

Conformation and Dynamics of the Cyclic Lipopeptide Viscosinamide at the Water-Lipid Interface

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
Cyclic lipodepsipeptides or CLiPs from Pseudomonas are secondary metabolites that mediate a wide range of biological functions for their producers, and display antimicrobial and anticancer activities.
