Deep‐Learning Driven Identification of Novel Antimicrobial Peptides

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Using an AI‐driven pipeline that couples HydrAMP sequence generation with AMPlify activity scoring, we evolved a short tryptophan‐rich parent peptide into a mini‐library of analogues, screened them in silico, and validated the top hits experimentally.

Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry Generates Adaptative Libraries of Glyco‐Dyn[n]Arenes That can Be Templated to Produce Anti‐Adhesive Glycoconjugates Targeting Pseudomonas aeruginosa

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
DCC enables the formation of glycocluster libraries through reversible disulfide exchange. Nanomolar ligands for multiple lectins (ConA, LecA, and LecB) were identified in a simple experimental set up, purified, and displayed nanomolar affinity with anti‐infectious properties.

Synthesis of uniform core‐shell calcium hydroxide‐calcium carbonate biocidal particles via encapsulation into dry ice

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Synthesis of core‐shell calcium hydroxide‐calcium carbonate biocidal particles via encapsulation into dry ice. Abstract This study introduces a novel synthesis method for core‐shell calcium hydroxide‐calcium carbonate (CSCC) biocidal particles by inducing a phase change in liquid CO2$$ {\mathrm{CO}}_2 $$, thereby coating CaOH2$$ \mathrm{Ca}{\left ...
