GENOMIC DIVERSITY OF PSEUDOMONAS SYRINGAE PV. ACTINIDIAE (PSA) IN CHINA

Acta Horticulturae, 2015
Multiple outbreaks of a severe disease of kiwifruit (Actinidia spp.) caused by the bacterium Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa) have occurred in Italy, New Zealand and Chile in the last few years. The disease was first reported in China and Japan in the 1980s, regions where the genus Actinidia is endemic.

Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae: colonizzazione della pianta

2012

Endophytic survival of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae in Actinidia chinensis ‘Hort16A’ plants

Acta Horticulturae, 2019
To tackle the epidemiological role of the latency phase of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa) in susceptible asymptomatic host plants, the pathogen survival and colonization were studied in seven-year-old plants of Actinidia chinensis ‘Hort16A’.

Copper sensitivity of Italian Pseudomonas syringae pv actinidiae strains

2015
Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa) is the agent of the bacterial canker of green and yellow-fleshed kiwifruit (respectively Actinidia deliciosa and A. chinensis). It is the cause of severe economic losses in Japan (Takikawa et al., 1989), South Korea (Koh et al., 1994) and Iran (Mazarei and Mostofipour, 1994).

Detection of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae in pollen samples

2011
Presence of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa), the causal agent of bacterial canker of kiwifruit, in pollen samples collected from infected and non infected orchards in Italy and in New Zealand was determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and by direct bacterial isolation.

Photoinactivation of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae in kiwifruit plants by cationic porphyrins

Planta, 2018
The studied cationic porphyrins formulation allows an effective photoinactivation of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae in kiwifruit leaves under sunlight irradiation, without damaging the plant. Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae (Psa) is a Gram-negative phytopathogenic bacterium responsible for canker on kiwifruit plant.
