[Vitrectomy for pseudophakic cystoid macular edema].
Nippon Ganka Gakkai zasshi, 2002To evaluate the effect of vitrectomy for pseudophakic cystoid macular edema(CME).This study included 34 eyes of 31 patients that underwent vitrectomy for CME after intraocular lens(IOL) surgery without complications. CME was diagnosed by slit-lamp biomicroscopy with contact lens.

Vitrectomy for chronic pseudophakic cystoid macular edema
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1999We report the results of pars plana vitrectomy for chronic pseudophakic cystoid macular edema unresponsive to medical treatment.Retrospective analysis of 23 consecutive eyes of 23 patients with chronic pseudophakic cystoid macular edema was performed. Eyes with vitreous incarceration into the cataract wound or vitreous-cornea contact were excluded from

Update on pseudophakic cystoid macular edema treatment options
Ophthalmology Clinics of North America, 2002As far as the treatment of chronic pseudophakic CME is concerned, it is important to understand that postoperative CME usually resolves with time. One must gauge the various treatment modalities outlined above with improvements in visual acuity and decreasing clinical macular thickening.

PHARMACOLOGIC THERAPY OF PSEUDOPHAKIC CYSTOID MACULAR EDEMA
Retina, 2011To review the current management and pharmacologic treatment of pseudophakic cystoid macular edema.Systematic review of currently accepted treatment modalities for pseudophakic cystoid macular edema. Main outcome measures include visual acuity and retinal thickness measurement by optical coherence tomography.Optical coherence tomography is used to ...

Pseudophakic cystoid macular edema with the Severin lens
Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 1986Clinically significant cystoid macular edema confirmed by fluorescein angiography has been studied in a consecutive series of 285 eyes having intracapsular cataract extraction and Severin intraocular lens implantation. The incidence and natural course of the condition is described and associated factors are discussed.

Interferon Alpha for Refractory Pseudophakic Cystoid Macular Edema (Irvine-Gass Syndrome)
Ocular immunology and inflammation, 2020Purpose: To assess the efficacy and safety of systemic interferon alpha-2a (IFN) for refractory pseudophakic cystoid macular edema (PCME). Methods: Retrospective observational study. The primary outcome was the decrease of central retinal thickness (CRT).
