A Novel Cultivation System for Germ Cell Proliferation and Sustaining Whole Testicular Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 39, October 20, 2025.
A hydrogel microneedle‐based system enables whole testicular cultivation, supporting spermatogonial proliferation and enhancing spermatogenesis in vitro. This ‘whole testicular spermatogonia pool’ (WTSP) significantly increases spermatid production and fertility potential in mice. This system also promotes spermatogonial expansion in human fetal testes,

Generation of Knock‐In Syrian Hamsters via Zygote Microinjection Using CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing

open access: yesgenesis, Volume 63, Issue 5, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Syrian hamsters (Mesocricetus auratus) have long served as valuable model organisms in diverse research fields such as oncology, immunology, and physiology owing to their unique biological and pathological characteristics. Although embryo manipulation techniques such as embryo collection, pronuclear microinjection, and embryo transfer have ...

Evidence for a blood – uterine lumen permeability barrier in rats treated with hormones to mimic early pseudopregnancy

open access: yes, 1982
Experiments have been carried out to investigate whether a blood – uterine lumen permeability barrier exists in rats treated with hormones to mimic the implantation period of gestation.

Lipedema: Progress, Challenges, and the Road Ahead

open access: yesObesity Reviews, Volume 26, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Lipedema is a chronic and progressive disease that predominantly affects women, characterized by a disproportionate increase in subcutaneous adipose tissue (AT), particularly in the lower limbs. It is associated with significant physical disability, chronic pain, thromboembolism, and psychosocial distress.

SERUM PROGESTERONE AND OESTRADIOL PROFILE IN PSEUDOPREGNANT AND PREGNANT GOATS BELOW 3 MONTHS POSTSERVICE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, 2019
The study was conducted with an objective to compare the serum progesterone and oestradiol levels of early pseudopregnant (Group I) goats before and after treatment (with double regime of PGF2α) with cycling animals (Group II) at similar reproductive ...

Study of the effect of prostaglandin F2α analogue, Dinoprost, on cropus luteal tissue in pseudopregnant rabbit [PDF]

open access: yesĀsīb/shināsī-i Darmāngāhī-i Dāmpizishkī, 2008
In this study the effect of prostaglandin F2 alpha analogue, dinoprost, on corpus luteal tissue in pseudopregnant rabbit was investigated. For this purpose, 42 mature female rabbits were randomly divided into 6 groups of 7 animals each.

Phosphatidic acid induces cytoskeletal rearrangements through the Src‐FAK‐RhoA/ROCK signaling pathway during decidualization

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 292, Issue 17, Page 4540-4554, September 2025.
Decidualization is the process by which human endometrial stromal cells undergo morphological and functional changes to prepare the uterus for embryo implantation and support pregnancy. Our study identifies the phosphatidic acid‐Src‐FAK‐RhoA/ROCK signaling pathway as a critical regulator of the cytoskeletal alterations required for this transformation.

Ovarian changes during pregnancy and pseudopregnancy in the vole, Microtus agrestis

open access: yes, 1970
In the vole, Microtus agrestis, there was no significant change in the number of corpora lutea (cl) during either pregnancy or pseudopregnancy. In pregnant animals, two waves of luteal development took place and histological changes during the two phases

Core temperature in the female rat: effect of ovariectomy and induction of pseudopregnancy

open access: yes, 1976
Nocturnal peaks in core body temperature of rats during the estrous cycle were highest during the night of ovulation (2300-0200 h, proestrus-estrus) and lowest during the night before (diestrus 2-proestrus). Less dramatic diurnal secondary peaks, absent
