Scalar-Pseudoscalar scattering and pseudoscalar resonances [PDF]
The interactions between the f_0(980) and a_0(980) scalar resonances and the lightest pseudoscalar mesons are studied. We first obtain the interacting kernels, without including any ad hoc free parameter, because the lightest scalar resonances are ...

Decay of the pseudoscalar glueball into scalar and pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]
We study a chiral Lagrangian which describes the two- and three-body decays of a pseudoscalar glueball into scalar and pseudoscalar mesons. The various branching ratios are a parameter-free prediction of our approach.

Seed-Mediated Growth and Advanced Characterization of Chiral Gold Nanorods. [PDF]
Recent progress in bottom‐up wet‐chemical synthesis of gold nanoparticles has created remarkable opportunities to produce nanoparticles with well‐defined chiral shapes and strong chiroptical activities. This perspective focuses on the seed‐mediated synthesis of chiral gold nanorods as a convenient case of chiral morphogenesis.

The pseudoscalar decay constant [PDF]
We discuss insights that may be drawn from our recent 2 flavour O(a)--improved Wilson quark simulations. We discuss the evidence of the onset of chiral logarithms in the pion decay constant. An overview is given of current extrapolation methods and a modification of chiral perturbation theory is presented as an approach for sensibly extrapolating to ...

ON THE COMPLEXION OF PSEUDOSCALAR MESONS [PDF]
A strongly momentum-dependent dressed-quark mass function is basic to QCD. It is central to the appearance of a constituent-quark mass-scale and an existential prerequisite for Goldstone modes. Dyson-Schwinger equation (DSEs) studies have long emphasised this importance, and have proved that QCD's Goldstone modes are the only pseudoscalar mesons to ...

Vacuum pseudoscalar susceptibility [PDF]
We derive a novel model-independent result for the pion susceptibility in QCD via the isovector-pseudoscalar vacuum polarisation. In the neighbourhood of the chiral-limit, the pion susceptibility can be expressed as a sum of two independent terms. The first expresses the pion-pole contribution.
