Effective masses of diquarks [PDF]
We study meson and diquark bound states using the rainbow-ladder truncation of QCD's Dyson-Schwinger equations. The infrared strength of the rainbow-ladder kernel is described by two parameters.

Effects of light-by-light scattering in the Lamb shift and hyperfine structure of muonic hydrogen [PDF]
We calculate the meson exchange contribution to the interaction operator of muon and proton, which is determined by the meson coupling with two photon state.

Heavy Meson Masses in the \epsilon-Regime of HM\chi PT
The pseudoscalar and vector heavy meson masses are calculated in the \epsilon-regime of Heavy Meson Chiral Perturbation Theory to order \epsilon^4. The results of this calculation will allow the determination of low-energy coefficients (LECs) directly ...

Relics of Supersymmetry in Ordinary 1-flavor QCD: Hairpin Diagrams and Scalar-Pseudoscalar Degeneracy [PDF]
The large-$N_c$ orientifold planar equivalence between $\mathcal{N}=1$ SUSY Yang-Mills theory and ordinary 1-flavor QCD suggests that low-energy quark-gluon dynamics in QCD should be constrained by the supersymmetry of the parent theory.

The firm understanding of standard quark-antiquark states (including excited states) is necessary to search for non-conventional mesons with the same quantum numbers.

We study the scattering of the light-flavor pseudoscalar mesons ($$\pi , K, \eta $$ π,K,η ) off the ground-state charmed mesons ($$D,D_s$$ D,Ds ) within chiral effective field theory.

Low-lying even parity meson resonances and spin-flavor symmetry [PDF]
A study is presented of the $s-$wave meson-meson interactions involving members of the $\rho-$nonet and of the $\pi-$octet. The starting point is an SU(6) spin-flavor extension of the SU(3) flavor Weinberg-Tomozawa Lagrangian.

A tmQCD mixed-action approach to flavour physics
We discuss a mixed-action approach in which sea quarks are regularised using non-perturbatively O(a) improved Wilson fermions, while a fully-twisted tmQCD action is used for valence quarks.

Role of vector and pseudoscalar mesons in understanding $1/2^-$ $N^*$ and $\Delta$ resonances
A study of nonstrange meson-baryon systems has been made with the idea of understanding the properties of the low-lying $1/2^-$ $N^*$ and $\Delta$ resonances.

Pseudoscalar mesons and instantons [PDF]
Abstract We discuss the QCD sum rules for the correlators of pseudoscalar currents with quantum numbers of π, K, η, η′ mesons. In the framework of the instanton model of the QCD vacuum suggested earlier by the author, we calculate SU(3) breaking effects such as K, η masses and ηη′ mixing, as well as the U(1) breaking effect, the η′ mass.
