An adaptive pseudospectral method for wave packet dynamics
We solve the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for molecular dynamics using a pseudospectral method with global, exponentially decaying, Hagedorn basis functions. The approximation properties of the Hagedorn basis depend strongly on the scaling of the spatial coordinates.

A pseudospectral method of solution of Fisher's equation
In this paper, we develop an accurate and efficient pseudospectral solution of Fisher's equation, a prototypical reaction–diffusion equation. The solutions of Fisher's equation are characterized by propagating fronts that can be very steep for large ...

A multidimensional pseudospectral method for optimal control of quantum ensembles,” [PDF]
In our previous work, we have shown that the pseudospectral method is an effective and flexible computation scheme for deriving pulses for optimal control of quantum systems. In practice, however, quantum systems often exhibit variation in the parameters

We derive an operational matrix representation for the differentiation of Jacobi rational functions, which is used to create a new Jacobi rational pseudospectral method based on the operational matrix of Jacobi rational functions.

A Highly Accurate Computational Approach to Solving the Diffusion Equation of a Fractional Order
This study aims to present and apply an effective algorithm for solving the TFDE (Time-Fractional Diffusion Equation). The Chebyshev cardinal polynomials and the operational matrix for fractional derivatives based on these bases are relied on as crucial ...

A pseudospectral Legendre method for hyperbolic equations with an improved stability condition
A new pseudospectral method is introduced for solving hyperbolic partial differential equations. This method uses different grid points than previously used pseudospectral methods: in fact the grid are related to the zeroes of the Legendre polynomials ...
