Palmitic Acid Promotes Antiviral Innate Immunity via ZDHHC20‐Mediated CMPK2 Palmitoylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metabolites have important functions in innate immune activation and regulation. Wang et al. uncover metabolic regulation of antiviral immunity through CMPK2 palmitoylation, which regulates CMPK2 mitochondrial localization and is promoted by ZDHHC20 but reversed by PPT1, inhibition of which antagonizes viral infection in mice.

Highly Vertically Oriented Graphene Microstrip Pads With Ultrahigh Through‐Plane Thermal Conductivity and Ultralow Compressive Modulus for Efficient Heat Dissipation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vertically aligned graphene microstrip pads (GMPs) break the traditional thermomechanical trade‐off in thermal interface materials. It simultaneously achieves an ultrahigh through‐plane thermal conductivity of 565.92 W m−1 K−1 and an ultralow compressive modulus below 115.16 kPa.

Heterogeneous Visible‐Light Photocatalysis in Continuous‐Flow: A Synergistic Strategy for Challenging Trifluoromethylation of α, α‐Diaryl Allylic Alcohols via 1,2‐aryl Migration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A continuous‐flow photocatalytic strategy is presented for the efficient synthesis of β‐trifluoromethyl ketones under visible light. Using a recyclable solid photocatalyst and an inexpensive CF3 source, the method enables rapid reactions, easy scale‐up, and smooth integration into multistep flow synthesis of bioactive molecules.

Multiscale Architecture and Mechanics of the Cell Nucleus: Implications for Disease, Bioengineering and Nanomedicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.

SpaMode: A Broadly Applicable Framework for Deciphering Spatial Multi‐Omics Using Multimodal Mixture of Disentangled Experts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SpaMode introduces a versatile framework for spatial multi‐omics integration across vertical, horizontal, and mosaic scenarios. By disentangling modality‐invariant and variant features through a mixture‐of‐experts mechanism, it adaptively reconfigures spatially heterogeneous signals.
