A Testis‐Specific Aralkylamine N‐Acetyltransferase Regulates Dimorphic Sperm Function and Male Fertility in Moths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

A Comparative Study on New Design Fixation Plate for Parasymphysis of Mandible Fracture with Conventional System

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Bioallied Sciences
Background: A new non-compression MP has been developed that offers similar benefits to 3D plates and is easier to fix in the PS region (R), as the conceptual design of the plates will allow fx in the PSR while retaining the 3D geometry of the plate. Aim:

Parasocial relationships and YouTube addiction: The role of viewer and YouTuber video characteristics

open access: yesPsychology of Language and Communication, 2022
YouTube is a popular social media platform that fosters the development of social bonds between viewers and YouTubers called parasocial relationships (PSR). These relationships might be associated with both viewer characteristics, such as social anxiety,

Processing and initial comparison of PSR data from CAMEX-3 to SSM/I and TMI data [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
A multiband Polarimetric Scanning Radiometer (PSR) was integrated on a NASA DC-8 aircraft and flown from August through September of 1998 during the third Convection and Moisture Experiment (CAMEX-3).

The binary companion of PSR J1740−3052 [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: Letters, 2011
Abstract We report on the identification of a near-infrared counterpart to the massive (>11 M⊙) binary companion of pulsar J1740−3052. An accurate celestial position of PSR J1740−3052 is determined from interferometric radio observations.

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

Progenitor neutron stars of the lightest and heaviest millisecond pulsars

open access: yes, 2015
The recent mass measurements of two binary millisecond pulsars, PSR J1614-2230 and PSR J0751+1807 with a mass M=1.97+/-0.04 Msun and M= 1.26 +/- 0.14 Msun, respectively, indicate a wide range of masses for such objects and possibly also a broad spectrum ...

Towards a theory of extremely intermittent pulsars II: Asteroids at a close distance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We investigate whether there may be one or many companions orbiting at close distance to the light cylinder around the extremely intermittent pulsars PSR B1931+24 and PSR J1841-0500.

Precise Tailoring 3D Printed In Situ Toughening Low‐k Microwave Transparent Structure via Thiol‐acrylate Chain Transfer Behavior

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ thiol–acrylate chain transfer‐mediated toughening strategy is introduced for Digital Light Processing (DLP) printing. Benefiting from its excellent printability, a printed gyroid lattice‐filled plate (100 µm wall thickness) achieves 92% transmittance at 10 GHz under a 50° incidence angle following structural optimization. ABSTRACT The unique
