Cancer and Capitalism: Towards a Critical Sociological Agenda
ABSTRACT This article considers the relationship between cancer and capitalism from the perspective of political economy. It argues that this perspective is crucial for producing a critical agenda in the sociological study of cancer, which has otherwise and traditionally neglected the question of capital as social totality.

Abstract Purpose Cognitive‐behavioural therapy for psychosis (CBTp) achieves small to modest effect sizes, which invites the question, ‘What clinical modifications might improve outcomes?’ This paper proposes an integration of CBTp with a neuropsychoanalytic approach that in clinical practice might extend the gains achieved by CBTp alone.

Psychotherapy and inhibitory control: Insights from fMRI research
Aim Despite the widespread clinical use of psychotherapy, the neural mechanisms linking treatment to changes in inhibitory control networks supporting self‐regulation remain unclear. This study addresses this gap by meta‐analyzing neuroimaging research on how psychotherapy affects brain regions involved in inhibitory control.
