A major drawback of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals is the high value of peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Partial transmit sequences (PTS) is a popular PAPR reduction method with good PAPR reduction performance, but its ...

Synthesis of Pt(II)−Pt(II) and Pt/Pd(II)−Pt(0) Monoalkynylphosphine Bridging Complexes
The monoalkynylphosphine complexes cis-[Pt(C 6F 5) 2(PPh 2CCR)(tht)] (R = Ph 1a, Tol 1b, tBu 1e, tht = tetrahydrothiophene) have been prepared by bridge splitting [{Pt(C 6F 5) 2(-tht)} 2] or by displacement of only one tht ligand from cis- [Pt(C 6F 5) 2(tht) 2] with PPh 2CCR.

The Role of BANK1 in B Cell Signaling and Disease
The B cell scaffold protein with ankyrin repeats (BANK1) is expressed primarily in B cells and with multiple but discrete roles in B cell signaling, including B cell receptor signaling, CD40-related signaling, and Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling.

Pt, Co–Pt and Fe–Pt alloy nanoclusters encapsulated in virus capsids
Nanostructured Pt-based alloys show great promise, not only for catalysis but also in medical and magnetic applications. To extend the properties of this class of materials, we have developed a means of synthesizing Pt and Pt-based alloy nanoclusters in the capsid of a virus.

Proofs for free - parametricity for dependent types [PDF]
Reynolds' abstraction theorem shows how a typing judgement in System F can be translated into a relational statement (in second order predicate logic) about inhabitants of the type.

PAPR reduction using SLM-PTS-CT hybrid PAPR method for optical NOMA waveform
In this article, we focus on optimising the SLM-PTS-CT (selective mapping, partial transmission sequence, circular transformation) hybrid method for optical non-orthogonal multiple access (O-NOMA) waveforms.
