Automating Computational Proofs for Public-Key-Based Key Exchange [PDF]
We present an approach to automating computationally sound proofs of key exchange protocols based on public-key encryption. We show that satisfying the property called occultness in the Dolev-Yao model guarantees the security of a related key exchange protocol in a simple computational model.

On the leakage-resilient key exchange [PDF]
Typically, secure channels are constructed from an authenticated key exchange (AKE) protocol, which authenticates the communicating parties based on long-term public keys and establishes secret session keys.

Efficient Password-Based Authenticated Key Exchange Without Public Information [PDF]
Since the first password-based authenticated key exchange (PAKE) was proposed, it has enjoyed a considerable amount of interest from the cryptographic research community. To our best knowledge, most of proposed PAKEs based on Diffie-Hellman key exchange need some public information, such as generators of a finite cyclic group.

Rahman and Shpilrain proposed a Diffie–Hellman style key exchange based on a semidirect product of n×nn\times n-matrices over a finite field. We show that, using public information, an adversary can recover the agreed upon secret key by solving a system ...

Remarks on a Tropical Key Exchange System
We consider a key-exchange protocol based on matrices over a tropical semiring which was recently proposed in [2]. We show that a particular private parameter of that protocol can be recovered with a simple binary search, rendering it insecure.

Lightweight noncommutative key exchange protocol for IoT environments
Network communications are expanding rapidly in many fields, including telecommunications, the Internet of Things, space, consumer electronics, and the military, with different privacy and security issues at stake in each of these areas.

A New Class of Strongly Asymmetric PKA Algorithms: SAA-5
A new class of public key agreement (PKA) algorithms called strongly-asymmetric algorithms (SAA) was introduced in a previous paper by some of the present authors.

New approach to practical leakage-resilient public-key cryptography
We present a new approach to construct several leakage-resilient cryptographic primitives, including leakage-resilient public-key encryption (PKE) schemes, authenticated key exchange (AKE) protocols and low-latency key exchange (LLKE) protocols.

Non-Invertible Public Key Certificates
Post-quantum public cryptosystems introduced so far do not define a scalable public key infrastructure for the quantum era. We demonstrate here a public certification system based on Lizama’s non-invertible key exchange protocol which can be used to ...
