Through a comprehensive multi‐omics analysis, this study identifies a marked reduction in Nephronectin (NPNT) expression within fibrotic lung tissue. This reduction impairs the binding capability to the ITGA3 receptor, consequently causing YAP1 to persist in the cytoplasm, where it undergoes degradation.

Signaling pathways of liver regeneration: Biological mechanisms and implications
Summary: The liver possesses a unique regenerative ability to restore its original mass, in this regard, partial hepatectomy (PHx) and partial liver transplantation (PLTx) can be executed smoothly and safely, which has important implications for the ...

PFKFB2‐Driven Glycolysis Promotes Dendritic Cell Maturation and Exacerbates Acute Lung Injury
Paraquat (PQ) or lipopolysaccharide (LPS) exposure activates the HIF‐1α–PFKFB2 pathway, driving glycolysis in dendritic cells (DCs). This metabolic shift enhances DC maturation and immune activation, exacerbating acute lung injury (ALI). This study demonstrates that PFKFB2‐driven glycolytic reprogramming in DCs plays a critical role in the pathogenesis

Brain metastases (BM) from lung cancer are aggressive with poor prognosis. This review covers clinical features, diagnosis, early metastasis, and multi‐omics‐elucidated mechanisms, especially the tumor microenvironment of lung cancer with BM. It also discusses preclinical models, signaling pathways, and emerging therapies.

The EDD (exercise, DLco, dyspnea) index in diffuse systemic sclerosis with pulmonary fibrosis [PDF]
Introduction: Pulmonary fibrosis secondary to systemic sclerosis (SSc) is the major cause of morbidity and mortality in these patients. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation of important lung function parameters with chest high ...

Plant‐derived bioactive molecules with low solubility and permeability induce hepatocyte injury, though the mechanisms driving their hepatic effects remain poorly understood. This study identifies a novel transport pathway in which poorly soluble indirubin accumulates in the liver via macrophage‐mediated uptake in Peyer's patches, exacerbating hepatic ...
