Integrative Approaches to Treating Cellular Senescence in Kidney Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cellular senescence in the kidney plays a crucial role in the progression of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. Therapeutic approaches targeting senescent cells, such as small molecule senolytic and senomorphic drugs, display efficacy in preclinical models.

Cascade‐Responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF Heterostructure Integrates Antioxidant Activity, Infection Control, and Vascularization for Tracheal Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

English Case report: Succesfully Management of Critical Pulmonary Stenosis in a 12-Month-Old Boy By percutaneous transluminal balloon valvuloplasty

open access: yesWMJ (Warmadewa Medical Journal), 2021
Critical pulmonary stenosis (PS) is used in infants born with very severe narrowing valves and requires treatment soon after birth. At four months old, an A-12-month-old boy was diagnosed with critical pulmonary stenosis but still successfully managed by

open access: yesAnales. Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Facultad de Medicina, 1967
The invaluable help of the new procedures for cardiology research has allowed us to better study the various cardiac abnormalities . These plays an important role intracardiac catheterization, which allows us to determine data such as blood gases and pressure curves ; the cineangiocardiografía can detect small abnormalities that escape even the ...

“Intrapericardial Approach” for Venous Outflow Reconstruction in Living‐Donor Liver Transplantation for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome: Surgical Techniques and LongTerm Outcomes

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Unlike deceased‐donor liver transplantation, living‐donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome (BCS) presents distinctive challenges in hepatic venous (HV)‐outflow reconstruction because diseased HV–inferior vena cava (IVC) cannot be entirely replaced with healthy donor vessels.

Implementation of First‐Line Rapid Genome Sequencing for Children in Pediatric and Cardiac Intensive Care Units

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Substantial data supports the use of rapid exome and genome sequencing (rES/rGS) in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), but fewer studies have examined the impact of rES/rGS in other pediatric critical care units. We evaluated the impact on diagnostic yield and time to diagnosis following a single‐center hospital policy change allowing ...
