Tumor Uptake of Radioiodinated Anti-Human Pulmonary Surfactant-Associated Protein Monoclonal Antibody PE10 in Nude Mice Bearing Human Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma in Combination with a Unlabeled Preload

open access: yesTumor Uptake of Radioiodinated Anti-Human Pulmonary Surfactant-Associated Protein Monoclonal Antibody PE10 in Nude Mice Bearing Human Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma in Combination with a Unlabeled Preload
This study assessed the potential use of radioimmunoscintigraphy of pulmonary alveolar Type II cells tumor with the radiolabeled anti-human surfactant-associated protein (SP) monoclonal antibody (MAb) PE 10 in combination with preloads of unlabeled MAb. The in vitro binding of iodine-125 (125I)-labeled MAb PE 10(1ug), which had a specific radioactivity

Modulation of Ferroptosis Biomarkers by Thinned Apple Polyphenols Extract in Acute and Chronic Lung Injuries

open access: yeseFood, Volume 7, Issue 3, June 2026.
Thinned apple polyphenols (TAP) extract reduced ferroptosis in acute and chronic lung injuries. TAP activated Nrf2 and modulated key biomarkers (MDA, NOX4, GPX4, FTH1), leading to decreased inflammation and fibrosis. These findings suggest TAP as a potential therapeutic approach for lung injury through ferroptosis regulation. ABSTRACT Acute and chronic

Chronic Low‐Dose Unsymmetrical Dimethylhydrazine Exposure in Rats: Multiorgan Mechanisms and Biomarker Identification

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, Volume 46, Issue 6, Page 1987-2002, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine (UDMH), a highly toxic rocket propellant with known multiorgan effects, requires urgent characterization of its chronic low‐dose toxicity. Using an integrated approach including exploratory transcriptomics (n = 3/group) and metabolomic (n = 4/group) approaches in male Sprague–Dawley rats exposed to high‐dose ...

Regulated Cell Death in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 9, 15 May 2026.
This graphical abstract illustrates regulated cell death (RCD) across key pulmonary cell types—including alveolar epithelial cells, fibroblasts, macrophages, and endothelial cells—modulated through a dynamic death modulation network within the IPF microenvironment.

Evaluation of Resorcinarene Trimer Methanesulfonate Aggregation in the Presence of Inorganic Salts and Biomolecules in Aqueous Solutions Using UV–vis Spectroscopy and Electrophoresis

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 27, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
UV–vis spectra of resorcinarene trimer methanesulfonate were identified in the presence of inorganic salts, choline, and bovine serum albumin. The origin of the peaks was identified. The absorption dynamic over the course of 5 days revealed that Na+ cations promote supramolecular aggregation while choline hinders it.
