The Influence of Chip Size Variation in the Pulping Process from Jabon Wood
Wood is the primary raw material in the pulp and paper industry. Due to its favorable fiber characteristics, Jabon wood (Anthocephalus cadamba Miq.) is a promising fast-growing pulp and paper production species. This study investigates the effect of nine

DEVELOPMENT OF A NOVEL EMPIRICAL MODEL TO ESTIMATE THE KRAFT PULP YIELD OF FAST-GROWING EUCALYPTUS
In this study, several kraft pulps were produced by kraft pulping of fast-growing Eucalyptus with a wide range of cooking conditions. The dependences between pulp yields and some pulp properties, namely, kappa number, HexA contents, and cellulose ...

Effect of Diluted Acid Pre-Extraction on Soda Pulping of Bagasse [PDF]
Pre-extraction of hemicelluloses prior to pulping allows co-production of pulp and different hemicellulose-based chemicals in the chemical pulp mills. Due to important impact of hemicelluloses on pulp properties, their pre-extraction would be carried out

Modification of Larch High-Yield Pulps with Ozone.
