Gravitational settling in pulsating subdwarf B stars and their progenitors [PDF]
Diffusion of atoms can be important during quiescent phases of stellar evolution. Particularly in the very thin inert envelopes of subdwarf B stars, diffusive movements will considerably change the envelope structure and the surface abundances on a short

Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Front speed enhancement by incompressible flows in three or higher dimensions [PDF]
We study, in dimensions $N\geq 3$, the family of first integrals of an incompressible flow: these are $H^{1}_{loc}$ functions whose level surfaces are tangent to the streamlines of the advective incompressible field.

Particle Resistance in Pulsation Flow
The resistance coefficient of a particle was measured in a pumped flow with added pulsation from a piston crank mechanism. As a result of experiment, it was found that the resistance coefficient of the particle was increased by a remarkable 7Hz and was for the increased by 15Hz when the pulsation frequency of the pumping fluid was 0-25Hz.

Enhanced Torque Control of a PMSM Supplied by a Four-Leg Voltage Source Inverter Using the Third Harmonic [PDF]
This paper investigates an electrical drive composed of a four-leg voltage source inverter and a three-phase starconnected surface permanent magnet synchronous machine with concentrated windings. The inverter fourth leg is clamped to the neutral point of

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control
