Effect of flow pulsation on heat transfer performance of biomimetic bark microchannel heat sink
Pumping coolant or using pulse flow through microchannels with novel structures on microelectronic devices is suitable for high heat flux dissipation and sensor development. This study proposes a novel microchannel designed as a series of biomimetic bark

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Liquid Flow Measurement by Cross-Correlation of Temperature Fluctuations
The applicability of the temperature cross-correlation method to the measurement of liquid flow under steady and pulsating flow conditions is investigated and some further results to those published earlier are presented.

Frequency Stability of the Cooler Pulsating White Dwarfs [PDF]
AbstractAlthough the frequencies of the pulsating white dwarfs are extremely stable, the evolutionary cooling of these geometrically constrained objects should lead to an observable period change over a sufficiently long time base. Direct measurement of a period change rate for the cooler white dwarfs should provide fundamental data on the core ...

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...
