Shock wave propagation characteristics of aluminum‐containing explosive in corrugated steel‐lined tunnel

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
Aluminum‐enhanced afterburning renders AE explosives more hazardous than conventional ones. Corrugated steel linings reduce far‐field AE blast overpressure by ~50% through wave reflection and dissipation. The developed model accurately predicts peak pressure (<10% error) and arrival time (<3% error), supporting protective design.

Flow and heat transfer characteristics in pulsating pipe flows (effects of pulsation on internal heat transfer in a circular pipe flow)

open access: yesHeat Transfer - Japanese Research, 1996
Effects of pulsation on flow and heat transfer characteristics are experimentally examined in the pulsating pipe flows having sinusoidal velocity fluctuation around a nonzero mean. By systematically varying three pulsation parameters (the amplitude, frequency, and mean velocity), time-averaged and fluctuating temperature profiles are measured under the

Effect of Sequential and Combined Space‐Based Stressors on Perovskite Solar Cell Stability

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
A correlation between loss in performance and mobile ion concentration has been established by sequential stressing of perovskite solar cells under Low Earth Orbit conditions with exposure to protons, light, and thermal cycling. It is shown that the loss in performance increases when ion concentration increases and vice versa.

The Seepage Characteristics of Single Rough Joint of Granite Based on NMR Technology: A Modified Cubic Law

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
The low‐field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measurements are applied to investigate the seepage characteristics of the single rough joint. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the seepage characteristics of granite specimens with single‐joint channel under the different roughness, confining pressures and seepage pressures.

Thermal Analysis of Cells Behavior in Modular Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery System in Urban Electric Bus Fleet

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Real‐world analysis of lithium iron phosphate battery systems in electric buses shows minimal short‐term temperature impact on energy but significant long‐term degradation at higher temperatures. Efficient cooling and thermal uniformity are critical to prevent accelerated aging, maintain performance, and ensure safety under dynamic operating conditions.
