AbstractThe jaguarundiPuma yagouaroundiis a small Neotropical cat that presents two main coloration phenotypes (grey/dark vs. reddish). Although these coat colour variants have been known for decades, and historically speculated to be associated with different habitats, their exact geographical distribution has never been mapped.

Polling the Public to Select Flagship Species for Tourism and Conservation—A ‘Big Five’ for the Peruvian Amazon?

Adicionalmente se describe la dieta, las dimensiones del encierro y el comportamiento social de los individuos. Las observaciones se realizaron en el zoológico Rosy Walther en Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
