Alternative Food for Litter‐Inhabiting Predators Decreases Thrips Densities and Above‐Ground Plant Damage

From hindrance to indirect protection: Ant‐mediated enemy‐free space for gall midges (Cecidomyiidae) on Macaranga myrmecophytes (Euphorbiaceae)

Ant presence was associated with lower gall density on Macaranga beccariana, whereas trees lacking ant defense had more galls and showed different parasitism patterns.
