Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Legality and legitimacy in Hans Kelsen's pure theory of law [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
My thesis attempts to show that Hans Kelsen's Pure Theory of Law successfully occupies a middle ground between natural law and legal positivism. I argue that the strength of the Pure Theory of Law cannot be brought out fully unless it is read in the ...

Calculation of Surface Properties of Cubic and Hexagonal Crystals through Molecular Statics Simulations

open access: yesCrystals, 2020
Surface property is an important factor that is widely considered in crystal growth and design. It is also found to play a critical role in changing the constitutive law seen in the classical elasticity theory for nanomaterials.

Tuning the Optoelectronic Properties of Wide Bandgap Perovskites: Data‐Driven Insights from Combinatorial Synthesis and High‐Throughput Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Combinatorial vapor deposition enables independent tuning of Cs/Pb and Br/Cl in wide‐bandgap perovskites. Automated multimodal mapping of 500+ compositions reveals a high‐energy optical transition that correlates with enhanced photoluminescence, defining a practical Cs/Pb window.

Between holism and realism: H. Kelsen’s two theories of legal conflicts

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Law
H. Kelsen’s pure theory of law, which emerged as a key reference point for the development of modern legal positivism in the 20th century, has had a profound impact on jurisprudence and philosophical theory of norms.

A Thermodynamic Model of Antiferroelectics and Its Application to Electric Field Induced Antiferroelectric‐Ferroelectric Transition in PbZrO3

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A thermodynamic model that incorporates ferroelectric, antiferroelectric, and antiferrodistortive orders of PbZrO3${\rm PbZrO}_3$ is established and parameterized based on experimental measurements and first‐principles calculations. We derive a Clapeyron‐like equation for describing the temperature‐dependence of critical electric fields for the ...
