KELSEN’S UNDERSTANDING OF DEMOCRACY

open access: yesPravo, 2009
Hans Kelsen was known because od his Pure Theory of Law, but his political thought, which was origined from the pure Theory of Law, was underestima ted for long time.

The field of law and morality [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Radova: Pravni Fakultet u Novom Sadu, 2017
Law and morality are not the same, but the related phenomena. The aforementioned difference requires further consideration of the characteristic teachings concerned with the relationship between law and morality.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Various dimensions of legal liability

open access: yesActa Universitatis Lodziensis Folia Iuridica, 2016
The legal liability is the issue of vast complexity and hence worth to analyze both on theoretical and practical level. The main goal is to analyze of one of the understandings of legal responsibility, imputation, proposed by Hans Kelsen.

Electrode and Microstructure Dependence of Oxygen Diffusion in Ferroelectric Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Significant nanoscale oxygen diffusion coefficient variations are measured in ferroelectric hafnium zirconium oxide films with grain boundaries and electrode interfaces exhibiting values 104 times larger than the grain cores. Overall coefficients are 10X larger for films prepared with metal nitride electrodes compared to refractory metals. New insights

Kelsen’s Pure Theory of Law: An Overview

open access: yesInternational Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology, 2023
Abstract: This paper deals with the origins of the many, frequently quite unfavourable, criticisms made of Kelson's pure theory of law and reveals key characteristics of several stages in its growth; point out the importance of Merkl and Verdross' work in developing the pure theory of law as well as the driving forces behind Kelsen's attempts to ...

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

The Metaphysics of Morals: between the a priori and a practical anthropology

open access: yesEthic@: an International Journal for Moral Philosophy, 2017
In this paper, I analyze the place of the Metaphysics of morals in the Kantian system. I claim that this work is the passage between a pure part of ethics and a practical anthropology.

Fusogenic RNA Nanomodules for Fusion‐Mediated and Multiplexed siRNA Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fusogenic lipid‐layered RNA nanomodules (L‐CRAMs) enable high‐capacity and long‐lasting siRNA delivery through membrane fusion. These nanomodules carry exceptionally large siRNA payloads, avoid conventional endosomal uptake, and release multiple functional siRNAs through Dicer‐mediated processing.
