A superior process for forming titanium hydrogen isotopic films [PDF]
Process forms stoichiometric, continuous, strongly bonded titanium hydrogen isotopic films. Films have thermal and electrical conductivities approximately the same as bulk pure titanium, ten times greater than those of usual thin ...

This study examines how several molten high‐silicon electrical steels interact with both conventional and recycled MgO–C refractories. For this, various immersion experiments are conducted. In addition to infiltration, a number of mechanisms are identified and explained that control the corrosion of the refractory material.

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Deep Drawing of Commercially Pure Titanium Sheets
The technology of deep drawing of commercially pure Ti cold-rolled sheet for obtaining drawn cup without defects was developed. Oil hydraulic press of 490 kN punch force and 98 kN blank holding force (BHF) and 300 mm/min drawing speed were used. Ti sheets (TP28C) of 0.8 mm sheet thickness (t) were used.

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Synthesis and Characterization of Magnetic Nanomaterials with Adsorptive Properties of Arsenic Ions
A new synthesis method of hybrid Fe3O4/C/TiO2 structures was developed using microwave-assisted coprecipitation. The aim of the study was to examine the effect of the addition of glucose and titanium dioxide on adsorptive properties enabling removal of ...
