Limonene‐Rich Citrus sinensis Essential Oil Modulates Antimicrobial Resistance and Virulence Traits of Foodborne Pseudomonas aeruginosa: Mechanistic Evidence and Validation in Fresh‐Produce System

open access: yesJournal of Food Safety, Volume 46, Issue 5, October 2026.
Limonene‐rich Citrus sinensis essential oil (CS‐EO) exhibited antibacterial and antivirulence activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, affecting membrane integrity, antimicrobial susceptibility, motility, biofilm formation, and pyocyanin production.

Hydrolyzed Collagen for Skin Aging Meta‐Analyses Are Unreliable

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Scientific evidence for oral collagen supplementation in skin aging remains controversial and limited, with various trials finding conflicting results on skin parameters such as reduction in wrinkle depth, increases in hydration and elasticity.

A Novel TORC1 Inhibitor, RLX‐201, Improves Skin Health, Biomechanics, and Extracellular Matrix Integrity in a Double‐Blind Clinical Study

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Skin aging is characterized by decline in structural integrity, extracellular matrix (ECM) organization, and biomechanical function. Emerging concepts in skin longevity emphasize preservation of tissue resilience through modulation of aging pathways, including mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (TORC1), a central regulator of

Density and Abundance of Cetaceans in the Eastern Tropical Pacific Based on a Spatial/Temporal Analysis of 1986–2006 Line‐Transect Surveys

open access: yesMarine Mammal Science, Volume 42, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT The abundance of cetaceans in the eastern tropical Pacific Ocean (ETP) is estimated using spatial/temporal density modeling and conventional line‐transect approaches. Line‐transect data are analyzed from 10 ship‐based visual sighting surveys from 1986 to 2006 that include 281,000 km of survey effort in a 19.4 million km2 study area.

The E3 Ubiquitin Ligases SINA3 and SINA5 Control DEP2 Ubiquitination and Proteasomal Degradation to Regulate Grain Size and Weight in Rice

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 10, Page 5483-5497, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Grain size is a critical agronomic trait, yet the molecular mechanisms governing its determination in crops remain incompletely understood. While recent studies revealed that OsRING80 facilitates DENSE AND ERECT PANICLE 2 (DEP2) degradation to mediate immunity without impacting growth and development, our work identifies a distinct regulatory ...
