Ultrathin MXene/EMF composite foams achieve a specific shielding efficiency of 749.6 dB.dB·cm3$\mathrm{dB}\cdot {\mathrm{cm}}^{3}$/g, while the silver‐enhanced MXene/Ag/EMF reaches 81.4 dB shielding effectiveness at just 1.0 mm thickness. Both composites exhibit rapid Joule heating, retain stability up to 250∘C$^\circ{\rm C}$, and withstand 1000 ...

Effect of γ-Ray Irradiation on Mechanical Properties of PVA and Acetalized PVA Films

The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

Control of nanostructures in PVA, PVA/chitosan blends and PCL through electrospinning
Aqueous solutions of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) were electrospun and its characteristics were studied as a function of applied potential, tip-target distance and solution flow rate. Solutions of PVA and chitosan were homogeneously mixed and electrospun to result in blend nanofibres and their properties were investigated.

Microneedles Mediated Delivery of Nanodiamonds for Quantum Sensing of Free Radicals in Skin Tissue
Fluorescent nanodiamonds are nanoscale sensors capable of monitoring cellular stress responses. However, to function effectively, they must be delivered into cells or tissues. Here, we demonstrate their application in the skin by developing a dissolvable microneedle platform that dissolves after skin insertion, enabling the delivery of nanodiamonds ...
