Improved Mechanical and Electrochemical Properties of Artificial Graphite Anode Using Water-Based Binders in Lithium-Ion Batteries [PDF]
In recent years, many studies have focused on the active materials of anodes to improve the performance of LIBs, while limited attention has been given to polymer binders, which act as inactive ingredients. However, polymer binders have amazing influence

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) Nanofiber Modified Current Collector in Anode-Free Lithium Battery
In order to coat the layer of the Cu for an anode-free lithium battery (AFLB) and examine AFLB performance, PVDF nanofiber with electrospinning is used. The fabrication time and molecular weight of the nanofiber can be modified.

PVDF composite nanofibers applications
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) has special piezo/pyro/ferroelectric, flexibility, low weight, biocompatibility, economical, good chemical/thermal, and high mechanical properties, such as excellent nontoxic fiber/film formation. It has polar and nonpolar phases of α, β, γ, ε, and δ, in which the nonpolar α phase is the most stable one.

Polymer matrices have limited abilities to dissociate lithium salts and transport ions, thus making most solid-state polymer electrolytes (SPEs) have extremely low ionic conductivities (10−7–10−5 S/cm) at 25 ℃.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
