Synthesis of Borneol‐Polymers as Fluorescent Sensors for Pollutant Detection
ABSTRACT In this work, a borneol‐derived monomer was employed to synthesize two novel copolymers, poly(vinyl acetate‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐1) and poly(p‐acryloyloxybenzaldehyde‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐2), via radical copolymerization. Both copolymers demonstrated aggregation‐induced emission in DMF at concentrations exceeding 0.04 wt.%.

Effect of New PVE Oil on the Performance of Air Conditioner with R32
The application range of R32, a new alternative refrigerant, is continually increasing. The development and use of a special refrigeration oil has become one of the key issues in R32 applications. This study investigated a new type of polyvinylether (PVE)

Abstract Accurate forecasting of the El Niño‐Southern Oscillation (ENSO) is essential for improving regional climate resilience and managing water‐related risks. While most deep learning studies have focused on the Niño 3.4 region, the Niño 1+2 region, closely linked to extreme coastal warming associated with ENSO that impacts water infrastructure ...

Pufferfish exposure and presumed tetrodotoxicosis in Australian dogs: 372 cases (2007–2018)
Introduction Tetrodotoxin (TTX) is a neurotoxin found in pufferfish that results in the blockade of excitatory conduction and clinical signs including gastrointestinal upset and paralysis. The objectives of this study were to describe the epidemiology of pufferfish exposure and presumed tetrodotoxicosis in dogs, and to determine associations with the ...

An experiment to map flooding tolerance in Miscanthus ×giganteus was conducted. Two phenotyping protocols (A and B) and different pipelines to call SNPs were used. TASSEL‐GBSv2 resulted in a genetic map with smaller QTL intervals than the other maps.

Revisiting the life cycle of Margalefidinium polykrikoides Group III
Abstract Dinoflagellates produce cysts as a strategy to withstand environmental stressors, with nutrient depletion generally considered a key trigger for cyst production. Resting cysts are thick‐walled, typically composed of one to several layers, and characterized by a prolonged dormancy period.

The genetic architecture of leaf vein density and its importance for photosynthesis in maize
Vein types in maize leaves. Summary Leaf venation density has significantly increased during plant evolution. Higher densities are observed in angiosperms compared with early land plants, and among angiosperms, recently diverged C4 species have the highest values.
