Evaluation of Aromatic Boronic Acids as Ligands for Measuring Diabetes Markers on Carbon Nanotube Field-Effect Transistors

open access: yesJournal of Nanotechnology, 2012
Biomolecular detections performed on carbon nanotube field-effect transistors (CNT-FETs) frequently use reactive pyrenes as an anchor to tether bioactive ligands to the hydrophobic nanotubes.

Peptidthioester und Peptidtriazolderivate durch Duale Modifikation von Peptidthiosulfonaten auf dem Harz

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Molecular Hydrogen Formation via Vibrational Excitation of Partially Superhydrogenated Pyrenes

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
While polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are now accepted to be abundant in interstellar space, the abundance and influence of superhydrogenated PAHs (HPAHs) in the interstellar medium (ISM) are still under investigation.

Helical Single Crystals of Porous Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Frameworks as a Candidate for Morphologically Functional Organic Materials

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Helical‐shaped crystals of a hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) with permanent porosity have been developed. The helical HOF shows expansion and contraction, respectively, upon desorption and adsorption of solvents. Moreover, doping of additive molecules can modulate the photophysical properties and morphology of the helical HOF, showing the ...

Peptide Thioester and Triazole Derivatives Through On‐Resin Dual‐Modification of Peptide Thiosulfonates

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
An on‐resin dual‐modification strategy for peptides is presented, comprising S‐alkynylation of peptide thiosulfonates and regioselective iridium‐catalyzed azide–thioalkyne cycloaddition. This method reliably provides access to peptides with intricate non‐canonical modifications, being compatible with complex peptides, alkynes and azides.
