In spite of the well‐known palladium thiophilicity, sulfur‐containing acyclic substrates may efficiently undergo several different kinds of palladium‐catalyzed cyclization processes leading to highly important sulfur heterocycles in one synthetic step. Catalytic Hydrogenation of Lignin‐Derived Aromatics With Rhodium Oxide in Water
The easily available, easy‐to‐handle rhodium(III) oxide, Rh2O3, is shown to be a competent catalyst for arene hydrogenation, including chemoselective reduction of α,β‐unsaturated aryl ketones. Catalytic arene hydrogenation offers a direct pathway to saturated carbocycles. It can also be exploited to upgrade lignin‐derived aromatics.

Polyethylene‐Polyamide‐6 Diblock Copolymers for Fused Filament Fabrication
Linear HDPE‐PA6 block copolymers were prepared by polymerization of ethylene to a macroinitiator and subsequent anionic caprolactam polymerization. The copolymer with a HDPE mass of 6500 Da and PA6 mass of 20.000 Da was used as a filament in 3D printing.
