Electron‐Rich Para‐Methylpyridine‐Functionalized TEMPO Empowers Long‐Lived Neutral Aqueous Organic Redox Flow Batteries

Three methylpyridine‐functionalized TEMPOs were synthesized through an electron‐rich regulation strategy. The calculation of transition states supported the highest reaction efficiency of para‐MePy‐TEMPOs, which outperformed its analogues to have the best performance of AORFBs, opening a new avenue for exploring TEMPO‐based catholytes.
