Molecular Mechanisms of Purine and Pyrimidine Nucleotide Release
2011Given the widespread importance of purinergic receptor-evoked signaling, understanding how ATP and other nucleotides are released from cells in a regulated manner is an essential physiological question. Nonlytic release of ATP, UTP, UDP-glucose, and other nucleotides occurs in all cell types and tissues via both constitutive mechanisms, that is, in the

Purine and pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis
Synthesis which is permiting purine and pyrimidine analogs with potential as anticancer drugs to be incorporated into DNA. The most important regulator of de novo purine biosynthesis is the intracellular concentration of phosphoribosyl-pyrophosphate. Control of pyrimidine nucleotide formation in Pseudomonas fulva
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2010Control of pyrimidine formation was examined in Pseudomonas fulva ATCC 31418. Pyrimidine supplementation lowered pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway enzyme activities in cells grown on glucose or succinate as a carbon source indicating possible repression of enzyme synthesis.

Regulation of pyrimidine nucleotide formation in Pseudomonas reptilivora
Letters in Applied Microbiology, 2004To study the regulation of de novo pyrimidine biosynthesis in the pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas reptilivora ATCC 14836.The pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway enzymes were assayed in extracts of Ps. reptilivora ATCC 14836 cells and of cells from an auxotroph lacking aspartate transcarbamoylase activity.

Regulation of pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis in Pseudomonas synxantha
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2007Regulation of pyrimidine nucleotide biosynthesis in Pseudomonas synxantha ATCC 9890 was investigated and the pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway enzyme activities were affected by pyrimidine supplementation in cells grown on glucose or succinate as a carbon source.

Association of pyrimidine nucleotides with unfolded albumin
1999The serum albumin, used as a model protein, aid in the distribution of many ligands. Its binding sites located in subdomains DA and IDA are well determined [1].
