Detection of Diagnostic Antibodies in Immune‐Mediated Diseases: A Focus on Antigens and Technologies
This review explores autoantibody detection in immune‐mediated diseases, highlighting autoantigens including post‐translational modifications. We compared enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay and indirect immunofluorescence with automated chemiluminescence platforms.

ABSTRACT This randomized controlled trial examined the effects of a 10‐week high‐intensity interval training (HIIT) program on physiological and hematological outcomes in 28 adolescent girls with overweight or obesity. Participants were randomly assigned to a HIIT group or a control group. The HIIT protocol comprised 4 sets of 6 × 15‐s bouts at 90%–105%

Homoisoflavonoids—From Natural Specificity and Biosynthesis to Precision Health‐Promoting Mechanisms
Homoisoflavonoids are rare flavonoids with a unique bi‐aromatic oxygen‐heterocyclic structure. This review synthesizes their structure–activity relationships in anti‐inflammatory, hypoglycemic, and anticancer contexts. By highlighting their specific natural distribution and outlining biosynthetic pathways, it provides a conceptual framework and ...

Effectiveness of Riboflavin in Inherited Metabolic Diseases: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Riboflavin (RF, vitamin B2) is an essential vitamin of which the co‐factors are critical to numerous cellular processes. RF is used as a treatment for inherited metabolic diseases (IMDs), although its effectiveness in many disorders has not been established.

Isocitrate Dehydrogenase Mutations in Cancer: From Bench to Bedside Applications
Mutant isocitrate dehydrogenase affects multiple cancer types. Alterations in IDH1 and IDH2 result in abnormal enzyme activity, leading to the overproduction of D‐2‐hydroxyglutarate (D‐2HG). This metabolite disrupts cellular metabolism and epigenetic regulation, driving cancer initiation, progression, and metastasis.

Abstract Carrier screening for genetic conditions performed preconception or during pregnancy allows identification of fetal risk for inherited autosomal recessive and X‐linked conditions. The goal is to identify at‐risk patients/couples and offer them reproductive options such as preimplantation genetic diagnosis, prenatal testing, or targeted newborn

R-Lipoic Acid Inhibits Mammalian Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase
Free Radical Research, 2004The four pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase (PDK) and two pyruvate dehydrogenase phosphatase (PDP) isoenzymes that are present in mammalian tissues regulate activity of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC) by phosphorylation/dephosphorylation of its pyruvate dehydrogenase (E1) component.
