Effect of hyperbaric oxygenation on carbohydrate metabolism protein synthesis in the myocardium during sustained hypodynamia [PDF]

open access: yes
Glycolysis and the intensity of protein synthesis were studied in 140 white male rats in subcellular fractions of the myocardium during 45 day hypodynamia and hyperbaric oxygenation.

Experiments on the carboxylase of pea roots [PDF]

open access: yes, 1941
It is known that vitamin B1 is a growth factor for numerous bacteria and fungi including the yeasts (see the summary in Koser and Saunders (1938)). It has also been demonstrated that vitamin B1 is essential for the growth of the isolated roots of higher ...

State of gas exchange in recumbent and orthostatic positions and under physical load in healthy persons of varying age, sex and body build [PDF]

open access: yes
Age effect on gas exchange was studied in the recumbent and orthostatic positions and under physical load. In the case of the older age group and for normal as compared with hypersthenic persons, oxygen consumption during rest and during moderate ...

Chemoselective Divergence via Substrate Control: Decarboxylative and Decarbonylative Coupling of 2‐Oxoacids with Allylic Difluorides

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 1, January 12, 2026.
A photocatalytic method for the decarboxylative CC coupling of 2‐oxoacids and allylic difluorides has been developed, yielding monofluoroalkenes in excellent yields. The reaction tolerates both aryl‐ and alkyl‐substituted 2‐oxoacids and displays high functional group tolerance.
