This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Some Identities on the q-Bernoulli Numbers and Polynomials with Weight 0
Recently, Kim (2011) has introduced the q-Bernoulli numbers with weight α. In this paper, we consider the q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials with weight α=0 and give p-adic q-integral representation of Bernstein polynomials associated ...

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

The Prabhakar fractional q-integral and q-differential operators, and their properties [PDF]
In this paper, we have introduced the Prabhakar fractional q-integral and q-differential operators. We first study the semigroup property of the Prabhakar fractional q-integral operator, which allowed us to introduce the corresponding q-differential ...

On q-Laplace type integral operators and their applications [PDF]
In this work, two q-Laplace type integral transforms called L-q(2)-transform and L-q(2)-transform are introduced. Some properties of q-analogues of the L-2-transform are given, and several relationships between them are studied.

(Shifted) Macdonald polynomials: q-Integral representation and combinatorial formula [PDF]
We extend some results about shifted Schur functions to the general context of shifted Macdonald polynomials. We strengthen some theorems of F. Knop and S. Sahi and give two explicit formulas for these polynomials: a q-integral representation and a combinatorial formula. Our main tool is a q-integral representation for ordinary Macdonald polynomial. We
