Structure and dynamics of dense colloidal ellipsoids at the nearest-neighbor length scale
Anisotropic particles are known to exhibit a richer and more complex phase behavior in comparison to their spherical counterpart. While the majority of the existing studies address structural properties, the dynamic behavior of anisotropic particles is a

Diphtheria Toxoid Particles as Q Fever Vaccine
There is an unmet need for a stable and nonreactogenic vaccine against the bioterrorism agent, Coxiella burnetii, causing Q fever. Here a safe, effective, and non-reactogenic Q fever vaccine is developed by employing self-assembled particles (CPs ...

Q-monopole-ball: a topological and nontopological soliton
Magnetic monopoles and Q-balls are examples of topological and nontopological solitons, respectively. A new soliton state with both topological and nontopological charges is shown to also exist, given a monopole sector with a portal coupling to an ...

A Classical WR Model with $$q$$ q Particle Types
A version of the Widom--Rowlinson model is considered, where particles of $q$ types coexist, with a given collection of hard-core exclusion diameters. For $q\leq 4$, in the case of large equal fugacities, we give a complete description of the pure phase picture, based on the theory of dominant ground states.

Radiation Limit for the Energy Gain of the p–11B Reaction
The feasibility of positive energy yield in systems with the p–11B reaction is considered here by considering refined (optimistic) data on the reaction rate.

General classification of charged test particle circular orbits in Reissner–Nordström spacetime
We investigate charged particles’ circular motion in the gravitational field of a charged mass distribution described by the Reissner–Nordström spacetime.

Combing modal particles in Dutch and German [PDF]
This paper is a corpus-based comparative study of modal particles in German and Dutch. We examine the special ability of Dutch and German modal particles to cluster, and demonstrate that Dutch is far more cluster-friendly than German.
