Oil and the stock market revisited: A mixed functional VAR approach

open access: yesQuantitative Economics, Volume 17, Issue 2, Page 541-589, May 2026.
This paper proposes a new mixed vector autoregression (MVAR) model to examine the relationship between aggregate time series and functional variables in a multivariate setting. The model facilitates a reexamination of the oil‐stock price nexus by estimating the effects of demand and supply shocks from the global market for crude oil on the entire ...

Localization of the gene for glutathione S-transferase P on rat chromosome 1 at band q43.

open access: yesJapanese journal of cancer research : Gann, 1986
An intron fragment of a rat glutathione S-transferase P (GST-P) genomic clone was used to assign the chromosomal localization of the GST-P gene. In situ hybridization analysis with the genomic DNA indicated that the GST-P gene was localized on band q43 of rat chromosome 1.

The price responsiveness of shale producers: Evidence from micro data

open access: yesQuantitative Economics, Volume 17, Issue 2, Page 394-430, May 2026.
We show that U.S. shale oil producers exhibit a high degree of short‐run price responsiveness, primarily through the timing of well completions and refracturing. Using a novel monthly well‐level panel covering over 120,000 shale wells across ten states from 2005 to 2019, we document significant supply adjustments to price signals.
