Lattice approach to finite volume form-factors of the Massive Thirring (Sine-Gordon) model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
In this paper we demonstrate, that the light-cone lattice approach for the Massive-Thirring (sine-Gordon) model, through the quantum inverse scattering method, admits an appropriate framework for computing the finite volume form-factors of local ...

Hawking Radiation in String Theory and the String Phase of Black Holes [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The quantum string emission by Black Holes is computed in the framework of the `string analogue model' (or thermodynamical approach), which is well suited to combine QFT and string theory in curved backgrounds (particulary here, as black holes and ...

Defect scaling Lee–Yang model from the perturbed DCFT point of view

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2014
We analyze the defect scaling Lee–Yang model from the perturbed defect conformal field theory (DCFT) point of view. First the defect Lee–Yang model is solved by calculating its structure constants from the sewing relations.

AdS2 holography and effective QFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Abstract We discuss AdS2 quantum gravity from an unconventional perspective that emphasizes bulk geometry. In our approach, AdS2 has no boundary, there are no divergences that require renormalization, and the dilaton of JT-gravity can be omitted altogether. The result is the standard Schwarzian theory.

Neutrix Calculus and Finite Quantum Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In general, quantum field theories (QFT) require regularizations and infinite renormalizations due to ultraviolet divergences in their loop calculations.

Topological QFT

open access: yes, 2023
An earlier paper gave a means of calculating the Lamb shift via Feynman diagrams. Here we apply the same techniques to TQFT.

On form factors of boundary changing operators

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
We develop a form factor bootstrap program to determine the matrix elements of local, boundary condition changing operators. We propose axioms for these form factors and determine their solutions in the free boson and Lee–Yang models.

Programmatic impact of QuantiFERON-TB Gold In-Tube implementation on latent tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment in a public health clinic. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
QuantiFERON-TB Gold In-Tube (QFT-GIT) is considered an alternative to the tuberculin skin test (TST) for the diagnosis of tuberculosis (TB) infection, but the programmatic impact of QFT-GIT implementation is largely unknown. In March, 2010, the Baltimore

QFT, String Temperature and the String Phase of De Sitter Space-time [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The density of mass levels \rho(m) and the critical temperature for strings in de Sitter space-time are found. QFT and string theory in de Sitter space are compared.
