Quadripulse stimulation (QPS) is a newly developed stimulation method to induce neural plasticity in humans. One stimulation burst consisting of four monophasic pulses is given every 5 s for 30 min. A total of 360 bursts (1440 pulses) are given in one session.

This brief presents an algorithm for decoupling multivariable systems based on quadratic programming (QP). A single framework is presented which can be used to design centralized, decentralized, and sparse structures of arbitrary dynamical order. A worked example and a case study are presented to demonstrate the usage and performance.

Reflection coefficients of qP- and qS- incident waves in orthorhombic media can be explicitly expressed by means of impedance matrices. In this paper, we extend previous studies and derive generalized linearized equations of qP-qP and qP-qS waves. Impedance matrices representing complete reflection properties of the medium can be inverted based on the ...

On the QP Algorithm in Software Watermarking
2005Software security is a key issue in an Internet-enabled economy. In order to prevent software from piracy and unauthorized modification, many techniques have been developed. Software watermarking[1,2] is such a technique, which can be used to protect software by embedding some secret information into the software to identify its copyright owner.

Sei p ≠ 2 eine Primzahl und x∊ℤ p x .x heist quadratischer Rest modp, falls es ein y∊ℤp gibt mit y2-x∊pℤp. Sonst heist x quadratischer Nichtrest.
