MGL‐Based Drug Conjugate: A Novel Glycan‐Targeting Strategy for Potential Precision Cancer Therapy

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 5, May 2026.
An engineered macrophage galactose‐type lectin (MGL)‐based conjugate (mMGL‐vcMMAE), incorporating an exposed cysteine for site‐specific drug linkage, preserves stability, binding profile, and affinity of the native MGL carbohydrate recognition domain. It also selectively targets Tn/STn‐expressing cancer cells and shows recognition of colorectal cancer ...

Magnetism for the Quantification of Sorption in Porous Materials From Liquid Media

open access: yesChemistry–Methods, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
This adsorption quantification technique uses external magnetic fields and a magnetic holder to measure mass changes during adsorption, making it universally applicable to any adsorbate. Unlike standard methods, it requires calibration only for the adsorbent rather than for every analyte.

Effect of solarization, chemical and organic fertilization on the control of nematode on greenhouse lettuce [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Os efeitos da solarização do solo associados à adubação no controle de nematóides e na produtividade da alface cultivar "Verônica" foram avaliados em solo naturalmente infestado. Dois experimentos foram conduzidos, um com e outro sem solarização, em casa

Monovalent mannose‐glycoconjugates of sulforaphane reprogram human dendritic cells via NFATc1 to induce immune tolerance under inflammatory conditions

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 9, Page 1993-2008, May 2026.
Abstract Background and Purpose Immune tolerance prevents inflammation and autoimmunity, with dendritic cells (DCs) playing a key role. Reprogramming DCs towards a tolerogenic state represents a promising therapeutic strategy. Sulforaphane (SFN) has known immunomodulatory effects, but its clinical application is limited by poor stability and ...

Efeitos da adubação orgânica e da época de colheita na qualidade da matéria-prima e nos rendimentos agrícola e de açúcar mascavo artesanal de duas cultivares de cana-de-açúcar (cana-planta). [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Conduziu-se este trabalho com o objetivo de estudar os efeitos de três sistemas de adubação (30 t. ha-1 de esterco de curral, 3,5 t.ha-1 de esterco de galinha e adubação química - 120 kg.ha-1 de P2O5 e de K2O no plantio + 60 kg.ha-1 de N em cobertura) e ...

Synthetic Implications of Spin States in the Reactivity of Ni Intermediate Complexes in Coupling Reactions

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 16, 25 April 2026.
The formation of triplet Ni(II) complexes by activation of bromoalkenes with alkyl‐ or boryl Ni(I) is key to control the outcome of the reductive cross‐coupling of bromoalkanes precluding the formation of alkylboronates. We present a mechanistic study on the Ni‐catalyzed cross‐coupling reaction of bromoalkanes with diboron compounds as reductants.

HPW-Catalyzed environmentally benign approach to imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry
The imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine moiety is present in drugs with several biological activities. The most direct way of obtaining this nucleus is the Groebke–Blackburn–Bienaymé three-component reaction (GBB-3CR) between aminopyridines, aldehydes, and ...
