Remarks on second-order quadratic systems in algebras

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2017
This paper is an addendum to our earlier paper [8], where a systematic study of quadratic systems of second order ordinary differential equations defined in commutative algebras was presented.

Configurations of quadratic systems possessing three distinct infinite singularities and one or more invariant parabolas

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
Denote by $\textbf{QS}$ the class of all non-degenerate planar quadratic differential systems and by $\textbf{QSP}$ the subclass of $\textbf{QS}$ of all systems possessing at least one invariant parabola.

Triplet‐Triplet Annihilation Enhances Photochemical Curing Contrast for Vat‐Based 3D Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Triplet–triplet annihilation photopolymerization (TTAP) resins enhance curing contrast for digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing compared to conventional Type I and II photopolymerizations at matched optical densities. By exploiting a superlinear initiation response, TTAP preserves fine details, allowing reliable fabrication of complex structures ...

Chandrasekhar equations for infinite dimensional systems [PDF]

open access: yes
Chandrasekhar equations are derived for linear time invariant systems defined on Hilbert spaces using a functional analytic technique. An important consequence of this is that the solution to the evolutional Riccati equation is strongly differentiable in

A METHOD FOR THE ANALITICAL SOLUTIONS OF NONLINEAR EQUATIONS WITH PARTIAL DERIVATIVES AND THE ALGORITM FOR SOLVING THE THIRD-ORDER SPECIAL EQUATION

open access: yesInformatika, 2017
The article considers the problem of the exact analytical solutions finding nonlinear equations of mathematical physics to simulate dynamic systems and nonlinear physical processes.

Quadratic Differential Systems and Chazy Equations, I

open access: yes, 2012
Generalized Darboux-Halphen (gDH) systems, which form a versatile class of three-dimensional homogeneous quadratic differential systems (HQDS's), are introduced. They generalize the Darboux-Halphen (DH) systems considered by other authors, in that any non-DH gDH system is affinely but not projectively covariant.

Thermo‐Mechanically Recyclable Smart Textiles from Circularly Knitted Liquid Crystal Elastomer Fibers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Reprogrammable multi‐material smart textiles knitted from liquid crystal elastomer fibers undergo 2D and 3D deformation under thermal and photo stimuli. Circularly knitted tubular structures reversibly contract in radial and axial directions, enabling autonomous climbing, liquid release, and micro pumping.

Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for Feedback Nash Equilibria for the Affine Quadratic Differential [PDF]

open access: yes
In this note we consider the non-cooperative linear feedback Nash quadratic differential game with an infinite planning horizon. The performance function is assumed to be indefinite and the underlying system affine.

A note on the saddle conic of quadratic planar differential systems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2000
We give some properties of the saddle conic of quadratic differential systems. We also deduce semi-algebraic conditions for the existence of one, two or three saddle points (in terms of affine invariants).

DNA‐Origami‐Assembled Rhodium Nanoantennas for Deep‐UV Label‐Free Single‐Protein Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Deep‐UV autofluorescence of single proteins in DNA origami‐based rhodium nanoantennas. Precisely positioned within the plasmonic nanogap, proteins retain their native state while their intrinsic emission is strongly amplified, enabling label‐free single‐molecule detection and opening new opportunities for highly sensitive and specific biosensing ...
