Laurent Polynomials and Superintegrable Maps [PDF]
This article is dedicated to the memory of Vadim Kuznetsov, and begins with some of the author's recollections of him. Thereafter, a brief review of Somos sequences is provided, with particular focus being made on the integrable structure of Somos-4 ...

Flexible Dielectric Acoustic Resonator Patch for Tissue Regeneration
A flexible dielectric acoustic resonator patch enables MHz‐range ultrasound generation through resonance amplification without using piezoelectric materials. Conformal integration on a curved substrate allows efficient acoustic delivery to tissue‐mimicking environments.

On quadratic symplectic mappings
In this paper the algebraic form of quadratic symplectic mappings in \(\mathbb{R}^{2n}\) with the standard symplectic structure is investigated. For the planar case this leads to the familiar Hénon maps. For \(n \geq 2\) it is shown that any quadratic map can be written as product of a shear map to be multiplied from the right and left by affine ...

Pick matrix conditions for sign-definite solutions of the algebraic Riccati equation [PDF]
We study the existence of positive and negative semidefinite solutions of algebraic Riccati equations (ARE) corresponding to linear quadratic problems with an indefinite cost functional.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

ABSTRACT Accurately knowing the frontier orbital energies of the structurally disordered small‐molecule organic semiconductors that are used in optoelectronic devices such as organic light‐emitting diodes is required to rationally improve their performance. Here, we show that these energies can be deduced with a large accuracy from the peak energies of

Fine properties of monotone maps arising in optimal transport for non-quadratic costs
The cost functions considered are c(x,y)=h(x−y)c\left(x,y)=h\left(x-y), where h∈C2(Rn)h\in {C}^{2}\left({{\mathbb{R}}}^{n}) is homogeneous of degree p≥2p\ge 2 with a positive definite Hessian in the unit sphere.

A novel image encryption/decryption scheme based on integrating multiple chaotic maps
In this paper, a novel framework is presented for chaotic image encryption. The proposed method is based on integrating multiple chaotic maps (e.g., logistic, tent, quadratic, cubic, and Bernoulli) to generate more robust chaotic maps in order to ...
