Atomically Modulating Competing Exchange Interactions in Centrosymmetric Skyrmion Hosts GdRu2X2 (X = Si and Ge)

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Our work bridges the gap between skyrmion discovery and material design by demonstrating how atomic‐scale control of exchange interactions enables tunable skyrmion phase transitions in centrosymmetric magnetic metals. ABSTRACT Magnetic skyrmions are topologically protected spin states that hold promise for shaping the future of electronics.

On the computation of the structured total least squares estimator

open access: yes, 2004
A class of structured total least squares problems is considered, in which the extended data matrix is partitioned into blocks and each of the blocks is (block) Toeplitz/Hankel structured, unstructured, or noise free.

Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

Shear Lag Effect of Ultra-Wide Box Girder under Influence of Shear Deformation

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The objective of this study was to determine the reasonable flexural functions of ultra-wide box girders, reveal the mechanism of the shear lag effect, and improve the analysis theory of ultra-wide box girders. Considering a single-box three-chamber thin-

Nonlinear Transverse Transport in a Ferromagnetic Polar Metal

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports the observation of a nonlinear transverse response in ferromagnetic polar SrRuO3(111) thin films. The nonlinear signal exhibits a sharp enhancement across the magnetic phase transition. Through detailed scaling and theoretical analysis, the authors attribute this behavior to a sign reversal of the Berry curvature triple, establishing ...

The independent quadratic optimisation algorithm for the active control of noise and vibration / Neil C. Mackenzie.

open access: yes, 1996
Bibliography: leaves 260-282.viii, 312 leaves : ill. ; 30 cm.This thesis develops an alternative control strategy, for active noise and vibration control systems, that does not require identification of the cancellation path transfer function.

Embedded Direct‐Written Organic Micro‐TEGs for High‐Efficiency Skin‐Heat Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A finite‐element–guided design of direct‐written organic micro‐thermoelectric generators is presented for efficient skin‐heat harvesting. Embedding PEDOT:PSS/PBFDO thermoelectric legs within flexible substrates suppresses interfacial heat losses and enhances vertical heat flow.
