Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Asymmetric Whisker‐Inspired Sensor Pairs for Enhanced Airflow Sensing on Drones
This work incorporates asymmetric cross‐sections into a whisker‐inspired sensor pair to enhance airflow sensing. By comparing signals between two offset asymmetric whiskers, the system improves flow heading estimation and identifies the presence of fan‐generated wind during quadrotor flight.

Control Design for UAV Quadrotors via Embedded Model Control
In this paper, a control system for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is designed, tested in simulation by means of a high-fidelity simulator, and then applied to a real quadrotor UAV. A novel approach is proposed for the control design, based on the combination of two methodologies: feedback linearization (FL) and embedded model control (EMC). FL allows

Modeling and Control of a Quadrotor UAV
Given the increasing use of quadrotor vehicle applications, this project seeks to iden-tify critical trade-offs with respect to modeling, control and vehicle design. With thisgoal, we focus on a very generic/standard quadrotor configuration. A two controlnonlinear 3DOF (degree of freedom) model for the vehicles longitudinal dynamics isused as the basis

UAV‐Based Precision Seed Dropping for Automated Reforestation
ABSTRACT Wildfires and deforestation pose significant threats to forest ecosystems, motivating scalable methods for reforestation beyond labor‐intensive cultivation of native forest seedlings in nurseries. To enable large‐scale direct seeding of native species, this paper presents the design, analysis, and field evaluation of a UAV‐based seed‐dropping ...
