Qualitative dermatoglyphic traits in brachial plexus palsy.

open access: yesCollegium antropologicum, 2007
It has been considered for many years that the cause of perinatal brachial plexus palsy (PBPP) is excessive lateral traction applied to the fetal head at delivery, in association with anterior shoulder dystocia, but this do not explain all cases of brachial plexus palsy.

Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Copper–Collagen Interactions Regulate the Mechanical and Invasive Properties of Tumor Spheroids

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Ionic copper is investigated as a modulator of tumor spheroid growth and invasiveness in a 3D microfluidic glioblastoma model. Copper exposure alters metabolic activity, cytoskeletal organization, protrusion dynamics, and EMT‐related phenotypes in a dose‐ and timing‐dependent manner, revealing how copper bioavailability shapes tumor aggressiveness ...
