A panoramic view of cotton resistance to Verticillium dahliae: From genetic architectures to precision genomic selection

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
This study identified 10 reliable quantitative trait loci (QTLs) governing cotton resistance to V. dahliae in various environments through a genome‐wide association analysis (GWAS) using an upland cotton population. The pyramid of these 10 elite alleles reduced the disease index of cotton to V. dahliae from 70 to 20.

A Review of In Silico and In Vitro Approaches in the Fight Against Carbapenem‐Resistant Enterobacterales

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
This review highlights computational approaches for discovering antimicrobials against carbapenem‐resistant Enterobacterales. It outlines methods like pharmacophore modeling, molecular docking, and absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion–toxicity (ADMET) analysis, integrated with in vitro assays, to identify and validate potential drugs ...

Missing the forest for the trees: Considerations for the use of nature in consumer spaces

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract In the primary article of this research dialogue (Journal of Consumer Psychology, 2025), we outlined the social, cognitive, and affective benefits of interacting with nature and briefly discussed the relevance of this work to consumer psychology.

Microbiologically influenced corrosion in aluminium alloys and premier techniques for comprehensive identification and characterization across diverse metal types

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Technology &Biotechnology, EarlyView.
Abstract Microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) is acknowledged as a significant type of corrosion due to its extensive impact on metal/alloy surfaces. As MIC accounts for 20% of all corrosion instances, it is a critical factor causing service failure of engineering materials such as steel and aluminium alloy.
