Quantum discord for multiqubit systems [PDF]
We evaluate analytically the quantum discord for a large family of multiqubit states. It is interesting to note that the quantum discord of three-qubits and five-qubits is the same, as is the quantum discord of two-qubits and six-qubits. We discover that the quantum discord of this family states can be concluded into three categories.

Twin neural network regression
We propose to reformulate a regression problem into predicting differences between target values. This allows for leveraging consistency conditions which can be used as uncertainty estimates and enable the production of an ensemble of predictions while training only a single neural network.

Multipartite Generalization of Quantum Discord [PDF]
A generalization of quantum discord to multipartite systems is proposed. A key feature of our formulation is its consistency with the conventional definition of discord in bipartite systems. It is by construction zero only for systems with classically correlated subsystems and is a non-negative quantity, giving a measure of the total non-classical ...

Squeezing of Primordial Gravitational Waves as Quantum Discord
We investigate the squeezing of primordial gravitational waves (PGWs) in terms of quantum discord. We construct a classical state of PGWs without quantum discord and compare it with the Bunch−Davies vacuum.

QUANTUM DISCORD AND QUANTUM COMPUTING — AN APPRAISAL [PDF]
We discuss models of computing that are beyond classical. The primary motivation is to unearth the cause of non-classical advantages in computation. Completeness results from computational complexity theory lead to the identification of very disparate problems, and offer a kaleidoscopic view into the realm of quantum enhancements in computation ...

Quantum discord of certain two-qubit states [PDF]
Quantum discord is an effective measure of quantum correlation introduced by Olliver and Zurek. We evaluate analytically the quantum discord for a large family of non-X-states. Exact solutions of the quantum discord are obtained of the four parametric space for non-X-states.

Foundations of Quantum Discord [PDF]
This paper summarizes the basics of the notion of quantum discord and how it relates to other types of correlations in quantum physics. We take the fundamental information theoretic approach and illustrate our exposition with a number of simple examples.

QUANTUM DISCORD AS A RESOURCE IN QUANTUM COMMUNICATION [PDF]
As quantum technologies move from the issues of principle to those of practice, it is important to understand the limitations on attaining tangible quantum advantages. In the realm of quantum communication, quantum discord captures the damaging effects of a decoherent environment.

Study on Non-Commutativity Measure of Quantum Discord
In this paper, we are concerned with the non-commutativity measure of quantum discord. We first present an explicit expression of the non-commutativity measure of quantum discord in the two-qubit case.
