Weak measurements enhancing the quantum information facets of a driven Unruh–DeWitt detector
We developed a Hermitian operator representation of the Unruh channel for a driven accelerated detector in the presence of external noise. This representation is then used to provide a generalized analytical approach to a non-inertial evolution subjected

Uncertainty principle with quantum Fisher information [PDF]
In this paper we prove a lower bound for the determinant of the covariance matrix of quantum mechanical observables, which was conjectured by Gibilisco et al. and has the interpretation of uncertainty. The lower bound is given in terms of the commutator of the state and the observables and quantum Fisher information (generated by an operator monotone ...

Heisenberg Limit beyond Quantum Fisher Information
The Heisenberg limit provides a fundamental bound on the achievable estimation precision with a limited number of $N$ resources used (e.g., atoms, photons, etc.). Using entangled quantum states makes it possible to scale the precision with $N$ better than when resources would be used independently.

Quantum estimation of cosmological parameters
Understanding how well future cosmological experiments can reconstruct the mechanism that generated primordial inhomogeneities is key to assessing the extent to which cosmology can inform fundamental physics.

Quantum properties of classical Fisher information [PDF]
The Fisher information of a quantum observable is shown to be proportional to both (i) the difference of a quantum and a classical variance, thus providing a measure of nonclassicality; and (ii) the rate of entropy increase under Gaussian diffusion, thus providing a measure of robustness.

Coherence-Enhanced Single-Qubit Thermometry out of Equilibrium
The metrological limits of thermometry operated in nonequilibrium dynamical regimes are analyzed. We consider a finite-dimensional quantum system, employed as a quantum thermometer, in contact with a thermal bath inducing Markovian thermalization ...

Fisher information rates in sequentially measured quantum systems
We consider the impact that temporal correlations in the measurement statistics can have on the achievable precision in a sequential metrological protocol.
